Insider Instagram spills on Aussie influencer earning the most

An insider Instagram account has listed the top six Australian influencer raking in the most dough.

A popular Instagram account which follows Australian influencers has spilt the tea on who is raking in the most dough.

The account, Influencer Updates AU, was hosting a Q&A session when the woman behind the account was asked to share her insider knowledge on which Aussie influencers earned the most money — and just how much it can pay to be a popular personality.

“How [much] do you think the ‘well known’ influencers make per year?” asked a follower.

“One prominent Aussie influencer (one of the names on my highlights) released some tax return details recently which made it clear to me that she has a personal taxable income of over $400k,” she replied, also explaining that she has a day job as an accountant.

Who could that influencer be? Well another follower asked her to share her thoughts on the influencers making the most, and we got a top six list.

“Who do you think are the top 3 richest Australian influencers?” asked the follower.

In response, she pointed fans to a post she made on TikTok late last year, digging into Australian Financial Review’s rich list and pulling out the influencers who made the list, along with receipts of their net worth.

The answers are not surprising, considering the six women (hell yeah, ladies) at the top of the Aussie influencer list all run very successful businesses.

Number one is the woman behind vitamin brand JSHealth, Jessica Sepel. Despite a little controversy over an alleged copycat brand, the influencer still appears to be doing very well for herself with a net worth of $426 million.

Next in line is one of the biggest names in fitness, and an actual angel (from that one interaction I had with her), Kayla Itsines. Thanks to her fitness programs and Sweat app, her net worth is sitting at $164 million.

In third place is a woman who has combined fitness and beauty with a whole lot of success, Emily Skye Anderson. Between her James Cosmetics range and fitness app Emily, her net worth is $95 million.

Natasha Oakley took out fourth, thanks to her very popular brand Monday Swimwear. She also has an app — The Pilates Class — and the two combined give her a net worth of $63 million.

Another fitness guru, Tammy Hembrow, was next on the list with a net worth of $38 million thanks to her app Tammy Fit and fitness range Saski Collection.

Rounding out the top six is Stephanie Miller who went from being a model and IG influencers to being a co-founder of popular health and fitness app, Keep It Cleaner. Her net worth is around 36 million.

Apparently it pays to be a woman in the health and fitness world, and we love to see it.
