Andre Mazzini from Mazztech Electrical voted best sparky in SA after only six months in action
When an ambitious electrician decided to “give it a crack” and go out on his own just six months ago he never dreamt his business would be voted the state’s best.

It started as a side hustle and now this dedicated 24-year-old electrician is an award-winning business owner.
After taking the leap and deciding to invest in his business full time in February, Andre Mazzini from Mazztech Electrical has been voted South Australia’s best sparky.
“It is an honour,” Mr Mazzini said.
“Having all these people vote for the company so early on since becoming full time … it is great to see we are having an impact on people’s lives.”
The tradie said he had always wanted to be an electrician after completing a construction VET course during high school and starting his apprenticeship at 17-years-old.
Mazztech Electrical originally started as a side hustle among other jobs while Mr Mazzini built his skill set and reputation as an electrician.
“I thought I would go out on my own and give it a crack,” Mr Mazzini said.
“It’s good because you’re working for growing your own business, not someone else’s.
“It’s amazing to see how happy customers are with your work.”
While his business in based in the Allenby Gardens and Seaton area, Mr Mazzini has travelled all over the state for his customers, even visiting homes in Victor Harbor and the Barossa.
“We have a variety of work we do and we branch out so we do a bit of solar, airconditioning, security camera installations, big office fit outs to little houses,” Mr Mazzini said.
Despite being in the early days of his business, Mr Mazzini said he was “looking to grow every day” and hopes to build a strong team of electricians.
“I would like to have a few vans on the road doing everything from domestic to commercial fit outs,” he said.
