After a decade serving locals and Henley Beach visitors from near and far, a beloved bakery-cafe has announced it will close its doors permanently in a matter of weeks.

A popular cafe in Henley Beach will shut its doors for good at the end of March.
Swedish Tarts in Henley Beach announced to customers on Friday that it will shut shop after operating for 10 years.
The beloved bakery-cafe posted a lengthy statement on social media thanking the community for unwavering support.
“It is with heavy hearts we need to inform you that after 10 years of servicing our community with fresh cakes, quality coffee and brunch our lease is coming to and end,” the post read.
“(We) would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the ongoing support you’ve given us over the years.
“Come in and say hello/goodbye to our friendly staff wether it is your favourite barista, waitress or chef, we will all miss you.”
The cafe ensured customers that the three remaining stores in Glenelg, Semaphore and Port Adelaide will remain open.
Swedish Tarts also announced the expansion of their Port Adelaide bakery store, and urged customers to keep a look out for a few new and exciting changes across their stores in the near future.
