NOMINATIONS to recognise SA’s most innovative women are now open.

The 2018 Winnovation Awards were officially opened on Monday night at KM House by Industry and Skills Minister David Pisoni, Women in Innovation president Nicole Swain and other guests.

The Winnovation Awards, supported by The Advertiser and other sponsors, are now in their fifth year and showcase and celebrate the successes of female innovators across 11 categories, Social Impact.

“We want anyone who knows an innovative woman to nominate her for the 2018 Winnovation Awards and encourage her to apply. Tell your bosses, colleagues, family and friends,” Ms Swaine said.

“We also strongly encourage you to be bold and nominate yourself, don’t necessarily wait

for someone else to nominate you.”

Life Whisperer’s Dr Michelle Perugini, Harvest Fair’s Amy Orange and Brick+Mortar’s Elizabeth Donaldson were among the winners in 2017.

Nominations an applications can be completed online until July 31 with the final winners being announced on October 18.
