ADELAIDE’S Leah Brunoli has built her business, Fresh Hair & Body, from the ground up.
At 27, Ms Brunoli owns and operates five salons — in Mawson Lakes, North Adelaide, Norwood, Cheltenham and Golden Grove.
Her husband, Daniel, is business operations manager, and they are also raising their three-year-old daughter, Pearl.
Ms Brunoli said she learned quickly the importance of business planning and marketing.
“At the beginning, I never thought Fresh Hair & Body would be where it is now,” she said.
“I opened the first salon because I wanted to give a high-end salon experience to customers at realistic prices, in a family-friendly and welcoming (environment).”
She said the opening of the fifth salon this year, in Golden Grove, had so far gone well.
“Consistency is the key,” she said.
“All our employees are really well trained. I have an exceptional team of extremely experienced and talented hairdressers and beauty therapists.”
Furthermore, Fresh Hair & Body catered for different people by offering basic hair cuts and beauty services, as well as bridal and special event hair styling and makeup.
“Fresh Hair & Body is affordable luxury for all hair and beauty needs,” added Ms Brunoli.
Looking ahead, she expected to open more salons across metropolitan Adelaide.
Among the potential sites for salons, she said, were Henley Beach, Hallett Cove, Gawler and Sheidow Park.
