Aussie holidaymakers can now fly to Bali for as little as $419 return thanks to a new route between the two countries.
Virgin Australia has today launched a new leg from the Gold Coast to Bali.
The carrier is offering fares from as low as $419 return between the two destinations until midnight April 3, unless sold out prior.
“Until now, services between Gold Coast and Bali have never been operated by any commercial airline, making this another milestone for Virgin Australia and our guests,” Virgin Australian chief strategy and transformation officer Alistair Hartley said.
“Virgin Australia is committed to providing the best value airfares to Bali, and that’s evident with our Gold Coast-Bali sale which is offering fares from as low as $419* return, which we expect will be extremely popular.”
“Bali is an incredibly popular destination for us, and we now operate more than 40 services a week between Bali and Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and the Gold Coast,” he said.
The carrier will operate daily services between the Gold Coast and Bali during school holiday periods, with four return services a week in off-peak periods, aligned to customer demand.
VIRGIN’S MASSIVE $55 FLIGHTS SALE
Virgin Australia has announced a massive flight sale, with 350,000 discount fares to some of the world’s hottest destinations up for grabs.
The airline’s Low Fare, More Air sale is on now until midnight (AEDT) on April 3, with bargain flights starting from just $55 one way.
Destinations include Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, as well as Tokyo, Bali, Queenstown and Fiji.
The cut-price flights are available for select travel dates between May 9, 2023 and December 14, 2023.
Hot tickets include economy class one-way flights from Sydney to Byron Bay (Ballina) for $55 and Gold Coast to Bali from $419.
Travellers can also grab a one-way flight Melbourne to Launceston starting at $75 and Sydney to the Gold Coast from $85.
Passengers wanting to soak up the sun during the winter months can hop on a plane from Melbourne to Hamilton Island for $139 or Sydney to Cairns for $119.
Those after a trip to paradise can grab return flights from Sydney to Fiji for $459, Brisbane to Samoa for $539 and Melbourne to for $539.
Passengers wanting to enjoy the cultural delights of Tokyo can get return flights from Cairns starting from $699.
Melburnians can grab a flight to Tokyo (via Cairns) from $819 while Sydneysiders can get a flight (via Cairns) starting from $819.
Virgin Australia group chief commercial officer Dave Emerson said there was never a better time to book ahead.
“Australians know what they get when they fly Virgin Australia,” he said.
“We stand for great value and choice, and today is another example of how we are giving all Australians the opportunity to make the most of our great value airfares and award-winning hospitality.”
All fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits.
