A young woman who entered a busy city fast food restaurant and was filmed having jumped the counter has faced court for the first time.
On Friday, Nooria Halake, 19, front the Adelaide Magistrates Court charged with disorderly behaviour, arising from an incident caught on video in December last year.
Counsel for Ms Halake asked the court for more time to consult with his client.
Footage of the alleged incident, which was shared to social media app TikTok, shows a woman hurling abuse at workers at the Hindley St McDonald’s at around 10.35pm on December 29.
She is seen in the video already behind the counter, threatening staff she would “beat you up and I’ll leave” before picking up a brown paper bag.
“Oh what’s that? What’s in that?” she asks before throwing it to the ground and continuing through to the kitchen area.
She then heads towards the processing line where she is seen to be preparing her own burger box before going to the fridge.
“Oh, what do I want?” she asks, and then takes a bottle of water.
She finishes her tantrum by picking something out of the McCafe display fridge.
Two police officers then arrive and arrest her.
SA Police told news.com.au in December last year that a 19-year-old had been arrested over the incident.
“It will be alleged the woman damaged a door and threw a bottle of water at staff,” a police spokesperson said.
Outside court, Ms Halake said the video of the incident was “embarrassing”.
She will face court again in May.
