After tracking down a stolen car being “driven dangerously” in western Sydney, police are now hunting a second suspected stolen vehicle.
NSW Police issued an urgent alert for a stolen red 2015 Hyundai Accent being driven dangerously in the Toongabbie area just before 8.30am on Monday.
Police warned people not to approach the car but to call triple-0 immediately if they spotted the vehicle.
Just after midday police confirmed they had found the red Hyundai but were now looking for a stolen 2012 grey Mazda 3 sedan with registration plates CHH79T.
NSW Police said the offenders dumped the Hyundai in the Pendle Hill area before switching cars to the Mazda.
“The car was last seen in the Pendle Hill area and has been reported to police as being driven dangerously,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“If sighted call triple-0 – do not approach.”
No arrests have been made yet.
